Dubai airports are opening a new baggage services center at DXB Terminal 2.

Dubai Airports has opened a new baggage service center at Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB), which will handle inquiries and baggage pick-up in one place, the airport announced on Thursday. The newly established facility consolidates “delayed baggage” and “mishandled baggage” services in one location.

The center is positioned for easy access and securely connects publicly accessible areas with the terminal’s secure zones, allowing travelers to retrieve their luggage without requiring additional checks.

“This improvement increases security and shortens waiting times for guests, making the overall airport experience smoother and more efficient,” the airport stated, adding that the new launch reflects the strong collaboration between Dubai Airports, Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and dnata.
